Secreto:
Pater noster, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum: adveniat regnum tuum: fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra: panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.

In secret:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

V: Et ne nos inducas in tentationem.

V: And lead us not into temptation.

R: Sed libera nos a malo.

R: But deliver us from evil.

Psalmus [69]:
Deus in adiutorium meum intende: Domine ad adiuvandum me festina.
Ego vero egenus, et pauper sum: Deus adiuva me.

Psalm [69]:
Incline unto my aid O God: O Lord make haste to help me.
Let them be confounded, and ashamed: that seek my soul.
Let them be turned away backward, and blush for shame: that will evils to me.
Let them be turned away forthwith blushing for shame: that say to me aha aha.
Let all that seek thee rejoice, and be glad: and let them say always, Our Lord be magnified, which love thy salvation.
But I am needy, and poor: O God help me.
Thou art my helper, and my deliverer: O Lord be not slack.

Gloria Patri, et Filio: et Spiritui sancto.
Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper: et in saecula saeculorum, Amen. Alleluia.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son: and to the Holy Ghost.
Even as it was in the beginning, and now, and ever: and world without end, Amen. Alleluia.

R: And out of Sion protect them.

V: Domine exaudi orationem meam.

V: O Lord hear my prayer.

R: Et clamor meus ad te veniat.

R: And let my cry come unto thee.

Oratio:

Prayer:
O God, whose property is always to have mercy, and to spare, receive our petition: that the tender mercy of thy piety may mildly absolve us, and all thy servants, whom the chain of sins doth bind.

Hear graciously we beseech thee O Lord the prayers of thy suppliants, and pardon the sins of them that confess to thee: that thou being unto us benign, mayest in like manner give us pardon, and peace.

Ineffabilem nobis Domine misericordiam tuam clementer ostende: ut simul nos et a peccatis omnibus exuas, et a poenis, quas pro his meremur, eripias.

Shew with clemency O Lord thy unspeakable mercy unto us: that thou both acquit us of our sins and deliver us from the pains, which for them we deserve.

O God which through sin art offended and through penance pacified: mercifully respect the prayers of thy people making supplication to thee: and turn away the scourges of thy anger, which for our sins we deserve.

Omnipotens sempiterne Deus, miserere famulo tuo pontifici nostro N. et dirige eum secundum tuam clementiam in viam salutis aeterne: ut te donante tibi placita cupiat, et tota virtute perficiat.

O almighty and eternal God, have mercy upon thy servant N. our chief Bishop, and direct him according to thy clemency into the way of everlasting salvation: that thou condescending he may desire things agreeable to thy will, and with all his power may perfect them.

O God, from whom are all holy desires, rightful counsels, and just works: give unto thy servants that peace, which the world cannot give: that our hearts disposed to keep thy commandments, and the fear of enemies taken away, the times through thy protection may be peaceable.

Enflame O Lord our reins, and heart, with the fire of thy Holy Spirit: to the end that we may serve thee, with a chaste body, and please thee with a clean heart.

Fidelium Deus omnium conditor, et redemptor, animabus famulorum, famularumque tuarum remissionem cunctorum tribue peccatorum: ut indulgentiam, quam semper optaverunt, piis supplicationibus consequantur.

O God the creator, and redeemer of all the faithful, give unto the souls of thy servants men, and women remission of all their sins: that through Godly supplications they may obtain the pardon which they have always wished for.

Prevent we beseech thee O Lord our actions by thy graces assisting, and in helping forward prosecute them: that every our prayer and work may begin always from thee, and begun, may by thee be ended.

O Almighty and everlasting God, which hast power over the living as also over the dead, and hast mercy on all them, whom thou foreknowest shall be thine by faith, and work, we humbly beseech thee: that for whom we have determined to pour forth our prayers, and whom this present world as yet in flesh retaineth, or the world to come hath taken unto it, now being delivered from the body, all thy saints making for them intercession, through the clemency of thy pity they may obtain pardon of all their sins. Through our Lord Jesus Christ thy Son, who liveth and reigneth, God, with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, world without end.

R: Amen

R: Amen.

V: Domine exaudi orationem meam.

V: O Lord hear my prayer.

R: Et clamor meus ad te veniat.

R: And let my cry come unto thee.

V: Exaudiat nos omnipotens et misericors Dominus.

V: Our almighty and merciful Lord graciously hear us.

R: Amen.

R: Amen.

V: Et fidelium animae per misericordiam Dei requiescant in pace.

V: And the souls of the faithful through the mercy of God rest in peace.

R: Amen.

R: Amen.
