Eructavit cor meum verbum bonum: dico ego opera mea regi.
Lingua mea calamus scribae: velociter scribentis.
Speciosus forma prae filiis hominum, diffusa est gratia in labiis tuis: propterea benedixit te Deus in aeternum.
Accingere gladio tuo: super femur tuum potentissime.
Specie tua, et pulchritudine tua: intende, prospere procede, et regna.
Propter veritatem, et mansuetudinem, et iustitiam: et deducet te mirabiliter dextera tua.
Sagittae tuae acutae: (populi sub te cadent) in corda inimicorum regis.
Sedis tua Deus in saeculum saeculi: virga directionis, virga regni tui.
Dilexisti iustitiam, et odisti iniquitatem: propterea unxit te Deus, Deus tuus oleo laetitiae, prae consortibus tuis.
Myrrha, et gutta, et cassia a vestimentis tuis, a domibus eburneis: ex quibus delectaverunt te filiae regum in honore tuo.
Adstetit regina a dextris tuis, in vestitu deaurato: circumdata varietate.
Audi filia, et vide, et inclina aurem tuam: et obliviscere populum tuum, et domum patris tui.
Et concupiscet Rex decorem tuum: quoniam ipse est dominus tuus, et adorabunt eum.
Et filiae Tyri in muneribus: vultum tuum deprecabuntur omnes divites plebis.
Omnis gloria eius filiae Regis ab intus: in fimbriis aureis, circumamicta varietatibus.
Adducentur Regi virgines post eam: proximae eius afferentur tibi.
Afferentur in laetitia, et exultatione: adducentur in templum Regis.
Pro patribus tuis nati sunt tibi filii: constitues eos principes super omnem terram.
Memores erunt nominis tui Domine in omni generatione et generationem.
Propterea populi confitebuntur tibi in aeternum: et in saeculum saeculi. | Psalm [44]:
My heart hath uttered a good word: I tell my works to the king.
My tongue is the pen of a writer: that writeth swiftly.
Goodly of beauty among the sons of men, grace is poured abroad in thy lips: therefore hath God blessed thee forever.
Be girded with the sword: upon thy thigh o most mighty.
With thy beauty, and comeliness: intend, proceed prosperously, and reign.
Because of truth, and mildness, and justice and thy right hand shall conduct thee marvelously.
Thy sharp arrows: (the people shall fall under thee) into the hearts of the kings enemies.
Thy seat o God is forever and ever: a rod of direction, the rod of thy kingdom.
Thou hast loved justice, and hated iniquity therefore God thy God hath anointed thee, with the oil of gladness, above thy fellows.
Myrrh, and stacte, and cassia from thy garments, from houses of ivory: out of the which the daughters of kings have delighted thee in thy honour.
The queen stood on thy right hand in golden array: compassed with variety.
Hear daughter, and see, and incline thine ear: and forget thy people, and the house of thy father.
And the king will desire thy beauty: because he is the Lord thy God, and thou shalt adore him.
And the daughters of Tyre with gifts: all the rich of the people shall beseech thy countenance.
All the glory of that daughter of the king, is from within: in borders of gold clothed round about with varieties.
Virgins shall be brought to the king after her: her neighbours shall be brought unto thee.
They shall be brought in joy, and jollity: they shall be brought into the temple of the king.
For thy fathers there are born sons to thee: thou shalt make them princes over all the earth.
They shall be mindful of thy name o Lord in all generations and generation.
Therefore shall peoples confess to thee forever: and forever and ever. |

Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper: et in saecula saeculorum, Amen. | Glory be to the Father, and to the Son: and to the Holy Ghost.
Even as it was in the beginning, and now, and ever: and world without end. Amen. |

| Psalmus [45]:
Deus noster refugium, et virtus: adiutor in tribulationibus, quae invenerunt nos nimis.
Propterea non timebimus, dum turbabitur terra: et transferentur montes in cor maris.
Sonaverunt et turbatae sunt aquae eorum: conturbati sunt montes in fortitudine eius.
Fluminis impetus laetificat civitatem Dei: sanctificavit tabernaculum suum altissimus.
Deus in medio eius non commovebitur: adiuvabit eam Deus mane diluculo.
Conturbatae sunt gentes, et inclinata sunt regna: dedit vocem suam, et mota est terra.
Dominus virtutum nobiscum: susceptor noster Deus Iacob.
Venite, et videte opera Domini, quae posuit prodigia super terram: auferens bella usque ad finem terrae.
Arcum conteret, et confringet arma: et scuta conburet in igni.
Vacate, et videte quoniam ego sum Deus: exaltabor in gentibus, et exaltabor in terra.
Dominus virtutum nobiscum: susceptor noster Deus Iacob. | Psalm [45]:
Our God is a refuge, and strength: and helper in tribulations, which have found us exceedingly.
Therefore will we not fear when the earth shall be troubled: and mountains transported into the heart of the sea.
These waters have sounded and were troubled: the mountains were troubled in his strength.
The violence of the flood maketh the city of God joyful: the highest hath sanctified his tabernacle.
God is in the midst thereof, it shall not be moved: God will help it in the morning early.
Nations are troubled, and kingdoms are bowed: he gave his voice, the earth was moved.
The Lord of hosts is with us: the God of Jacob is our defender.
Come ye, and see the works of our Lord, what wonders he hath put upon the earth: taking away wars even unto the end of the earth.
He shall destroy the bow, and break weapons: and shields he shall burn with fire.
Be quiet and see, for that I am God: I shall be exalted among the gentiles, I shall be exalted in the earth.
The Lord of hosts is with us: the God of Jacob is our defender. |

Fundamenta eius in montibus sanctis: diligit Dominus portas Sion super omnia tabernacula Iacob.
Gloriosa dicta sunt de te civitas Dei.
Memor ero Raab et Babylonis: scientibus me.
Ecce alienigenae, et Tyrus, et populus Aethiopum: hi fuerunt illic.
Numquid Sion dicet, homo, et homo natus est in ea: et ipse fundavit eam altissimus?
Dominus narrabit in scriptura populorum: et principum horum qui fuerunt in ea.
Sicut laetantium omnium: habitatio in te. | Psalm [86]:
The foundations thereof in the holy mountains: our Lord loveth the gates of Sion above all the tabernacles of Jacob.
Glorious things are said of thee, o city of God.
I will be mindful of Raab, and Babylon: knowing me.
Behold the strangers, and Tyre, and the people of the Ethiopians: these were there.
Shall not Sion say, man, and man is born in her: and the highest himself founded her?
Our Lord will declare in scriptures of peoples: and of those princes, which have been in her,
As it were of all rejoicing: the habitation is in thee. |
